    LAGOS STATE MOT 25 MAJOR ROADS MARKING COMMENCE

    Lagos state Government in its bid to de-congest traffic and also to make roads within the state be safe for road users has awarded the Road Marking contract of 25 major roads to Ronchess Global Resources Ltd in conjunction with Fortis Project service Ltd.

    Road marking are horizontal signs designed to segregate and direct traffic safely and efficiently in a variety of road situations, from high-speed trunk roads and high volume urban environments to unlit rural roads.

    The use of road markings has grown over the years, with the increase use of vehicles, initially as a result of the 1st National Conference on Street and Highway Safety in Washington DC in 1925 .

    Road marking is now a multi-million pound international road safety industry serving all developed and developing nations and cities.

    Below is the list of the 25 Roads;

    1. 3rd Mainland Bridge (Old toll gate/7up – Obalende)
    2. Ikorodu Road (Ojota through Funsho Williams – Apongon)
    3. Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway
    4. Awolowo Way Ikoyi
    5. Awolowo Way Ikeja
    6. Alfred Rewane, Ikoyi
    7. Adetokunbo Ademola, VI
    8. Adeniran Ogunsaya, Surulere
    9. Adeola Odeku, VI
    10. Secretariat Complex, Alausa
    11. Ojuelegba-Itire, Ojuelegba
    12. M.K.O Gardens, Alausa
    13. Lateef Jakande Agidingbi, Ikeja
    14. Herbert Macaulay, Yaba
    15. Idimu, Egbeda
    16. College Road, Ogba
